At Lawtech, the health, safety and welfare of our management, staff and operatives is central to all company operations. Health and Safety is not simply a ‘9 to 5’ concern reserved for site work, but a company-wide philosophy and mentality that is manifest in the planning, strategy and performance of everything we do.

In order to manage and monitor safe working practices, both on site and at office premises, we employ in-house H&S Managers located in both England and Scotland. Our NEBOSH and IOSH accredited managers are tasked to ensure that working safely remains a core company value. They also arrange to train and educate staff on occupational health, construction safety developments and, most importantly, inspecting and auditing our sites to ensure total compliance with safe working practices.

This commitment to Health and Safety ensures that our Site and Project Managers remain focused on delivering projects not just on time and budget, but injury-free. LOLER, PUWER, PAT testing, scaffold inspection, abrasive wheels, aluminium tower assembly, asbestos awareness, Working at Height, traffic management, First Aid and Gap Management are just some of the courses that our CSCS and SMSTS certified managers have attended.

In an ever-changing industry, we are able to keep apace with changes in ACOPs, legislation and industry regulations thanks to a healthy network of resources and subscription to the HSE. In addition to our in-house Health & Safety management, we are able to draw on the experience of external consultancies which provide support, back-up, auditing input, and remain an invaluable asset in our ongoing drive for safer sites.

As a CHAS accredited company (see certificate), Lawtech continue to demonstrate compliance with current safe working practices, and commitment to improvement in all of our operations.
