The Metropolitan Police were undertaking an expansion of its small community support offices. Lawtech Ltd was instructed to repair one such building known as the “One o’clock club”.

The work involved stripping back of all the coatings and carrying out a full diagnostic survey of the structure prior to carrying out the Sika concrete repair system (chosen by Lawtech Ltd). The small structure was listed and therefore Lawtech needed to be sympathetic towards the repair methods used. Several moulded balusters were in need of major repair or replacement, but due to the small numbers of these overall it was not economical to make a mould and procure new pre-cast ones. Instead Lawtech’s skilled operatives carried out the repairs insitu to match the existing profiles.
