The overcladding works to 6 tower blocks in Little Venice was completed in Sept 2008. The works for Lawtech Ltd included concrete repairs to all 6 tower blocks before the installation of an Alumasc insulated render system. The scope of works also called for Lawtech Ltd to undertake PI design for the works.
The installation of the insulated render system was complicated by the support beams coming across every second floor level. This feature can be seen in photo 3. The design works involved detailing the sealing of the insulated render system up to the curtain wall caldding system which was ot be installed by Harley Curtain Walling under a sepaerate subcontract package.
