Lawtech has completed the façade of a prestigious new classroom building at Hayes School in Bromley, Kent.
The building creates a new school library, student support facilities, speech and language classroom, along with the provision of a new state-of-the-art facility for Media, English and PE teaching. The new classroom block’s external walls were finished with Sto render and cedar timber cladding, providing a visually pleasing and sustainable rainscreen façade.
The Sto Rail system designed by Lawtech offers very high impact resistance (up to 60 joules) which was seen as key in a school environment. The scheme was carried out by Lawtech Specialist facades and is a great example of Lawtech completing small specialist schemes as well as large multi-discipline projects.
Lawtech is one of the largest installers of external wall insulation systems across the UK with offices in Rochester and Glasgow. Lawtech is UKAS accredited to ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 and is an active member of both the NIA & INCA.
Lawtech is able to act as a Principal Contractor on multi million pound “green” retrofit schemes installing and managing multiple energy saving measures, and in addition as a specialist façade contractor working with other contractor partners. We are able to offer advice and assistance in respect to grants and funds schemes available under CERT, CESP and from 2013 Green Deal.
