Following the install of the revolutionary new STO Rotofix system at the Marlowe Theatre, Lawtech are proud to have been invited to again be the installers of an innovative new system to the EWI Market.

Jablite and Dryvit have teamed together with a new system named Dynamic Insulation. The system combines Dryvit Genisis adhesive renders and top coats with the innovative Jablite board.

The differences in this system are recognised from the offset with a ventilated base track. The board is then fixed to the building. As you can see from pictures (inset), the board has distinctive features differing it from its competitors. Firstly the board is perforated with 8 vent channels. The boards are also pre-cut and notched to allow an easy line up of vent channels and tile effect install. The inner side of the board also has cut breaks along the vent channels to allow the board a margin of flexibility on install against non-level surface.

The purpose of these vented channels is quite ingenious. At the top of the building the channels are funnelled and connected to air sourced heat pumps. Air enters through the vented base rail, travel up through the insulation board. The air collects not only minimal escaping heat from the property but heated through a solar thermal effect on the exterior of the building. The hot air is then vacuumed through the pumps and back into the property maximising energy efficiency.

The project has created great interest from all parties involved and will be subject to a visit from Deputy Minister for Energy & Climate Change, Greg Barker. With the imminent success of this new system, Lawtech are keen to see how this product develops within the current market place.
