The construction industry has taken time to embrace modern computer technologies and the paperless office still seems a long distance goal. However, at Lawtech we have invested heavily in technologies to make us more efficient and deliver great customer focus.
In 2009 Lawtech commissioned a bespoke operating system to move towards the paperless office. Our investment in this process continues and our partnership with our programmer remains strong.
Our operating system allows us to engage fully with our clients offering them a log-in section so they can keep up to date over the internet with all progress being made on site. Our purchase ordering system within the operating system allows Site Agents to log on from site and place orders directly. This facility reduces the time for deliveries and eliminates errors in product selection, ensuring the correct products are procured and delivered at the correct time. The system is updated daily from site with information such as site conditions, actions required, programme updates and many other issues that the client can see on a live basis.
This service is certainly unique in our market sector and shows that innovation within Lawtech can lead customers to a much better service.
Lawtech is one of the largest installers of external wall insulation systems across the UK with offices in Rochester and Glasgow. Lawtech is UKAS accredited to ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 and is an active member of both the NIA & INCA.
Lawtech is able to act as a Principal Contractor on multi million pound “green” retrofit schemes installing and managing multiple energy saving measures, and in addition as a specialist façade contractor working with other contractor partners. We are able to offer advice and assistance in respect to grants and funds schemes available under CERT, CESP and from 2013 Green Deal.
